From the Georgia National Fair — drawing nearly half a million visitors each year — to 235 annual events at the Fairgrounds and Agricenter, Houston County is a hub of excitement. With 15 parks, youth and adult sports programs, senior events like the Georgia Golden Olympics, and a variety of enrichment classes, there’s always something to do for every member of the community.
North Houston Sports Complex
Houston County offers excellent athletic facilities. Among the standout facilities is the North Houston Sports Complex, a 67 acre regional hub featuring multiple baseball and softball fields, a 77,000 square foot recreation center with indoor courts, a walking track, and community activity spaces.
The Go Fish Education Center
Located on approximately 120 acres in Perry the 30,000 square foot facility features interactive exhibits that showcase Georgia’s diverse aquatic habitats and wildlife, including freshwater aquariums with native fish species, live wildlife displays, and underwater habitat exhibits that span mountain streams to black water swamps. Visitors can also enjoy interactive fishing and boating simulators, a catch and release casting pond stocked with fish, educational classrooms, and a state of the art theater that enhances learning for all ages.

Tommy Stalnaker Aquatic Center
A state of the art aquatic facility that significantly enhances the county’s parks and recreation landscape. The 39,000 square foot center features a 50 meter competition pool equipped with advanced pool and timing technology designed to host high level swim meets, regional competitions, and community events. It also includes a 25 yard warm water program pool with zero entry accessibility and expansive steps, ideal for beginner swim lessons, lap swimming, aquatics fitness classes, and family water activities. The center includes classroom space and locker rooms, supporting instructional programs, youth development, and community engagement.
Little League Southeastern Region Headquarters
Houston County is home to the Little League Southeast Regional Headquarters and Southeast Park, a premier youth sports facility spanning 26 acres that serves as the administrative and tournament center for Little League Baseball and Softball across eight Southeastern states. The complex includes a 2,500 seat stadium with additional hillside seating for up to 5,000 spectators, a 10,400 square foot administration building, press box, concession and retail areas, maintenance facilities, batting cages, and covered pavilion space, creating a championship quality venue right here in Warner Robins.

Georgia National Fairgrounds & Agricenter
The Georgia National Fairgrounds & Agricenter, located in Perry, spans nearly 1,100 acres and is one of the largest fairground complexes in the nation. The facility is a year round destination for a wide range of events, including meetings, trade shows, livestock and horse shows, concerts, rodeos, RV rallies, and community celebrations. As the host of the annual Georgia National Fair, a premier 10 day statewide event that draws hundreds of thousands of visitors each October, the fairgrounds showcase agriculture, youth competitions, livestock exhibitions, entertainment, and family friendly activities that celebrate Georgia’s cultural and economic heritage. The complex includes extensive amenities such as multiple arenas including the 8,250 seat Reaves Arena, exhibit halls, equine and livestock barns, conference facilities, ponds, and carnival midway space, making it a versatile regional hub for large scale events and tourism.
